Instructions Cut the Parts

Put on your safety goggles and boots with a steel tip. Use the chalk from the corner of the wood oak sheet diagonally. Give the line a gentle tug and allow it to fit into the wood oak so that the chalk mark splits the wood oak into two rectangular triangles. Remove the fence from the table saw. Cut the wood oak along the blue chalk line. One of the triangles will be the base of the television and the other will be your platform.

Replace the fence on the table saw. Cut the 4 x 4 wood into three 2 foot (60 cm) long boards. These will be the legs of the TV stand. Place the legs of the oak TV stands on the top of the platform so that the corners of the legs are completely inside the triangle. Place two legs at the edge level against the long side of the triangle and the third leg against the right angle. Mark your positions with the pencil.

Make holes that are wide enough for the saw blade at the end of the perpendicular cuts. Using the ruler as a template and trim the parallel lines on the longer side of the triangle.
